Dell E525W Wireless Color Printer Review has been quite positive in the market. Dell E525W is one of the most compact multifunction device that has been designed for small scale business or working groups for offering scan print copy and fax functions with wireless Ethernet and USB connections.

The printer is jet black livery with angular lines and is clean cut having small footprints with paper out support pulling out no further then the tray for input keeping the footprint intact.

  • There is full with control panel that has four line by 20 character mono LCD. This is used for control and status but it is not a touch screen.

  • There is only one paper tree that can accommodate 150 sheets. It is a flip up slab that has no purpose as there is no feed for single sheet.
  • The connection at the back has USB and 10 / 100 Ethernet with sockets for phone line and third party handset.
  • In the front panel there is a USB socket which is for uploading, print jobs and downloading the scanned pages.
  • At the back there is a fold down panel and hinged scanner section that gives access to any paper
  • Dell has document hub with a Each enables you to access the printer from your smartphone via Google cloud print or directly. The wireless connection can be completed through WPS with a few places on the printer and one on the router.
  • It has a top speed of 18 PPM for both the mono and colour printing however on testing it was 7.5 PPM on the five page mono text test that was 12.5 PPM on the longer 20 page test. The speed difference is because of long pre-processing time that the printer takes which is up to 25 seconds.
  • The print quality is very good it has beautiful black text that is matched by attention bright colours with smooth and unbounded colour

The Dell E525W Wireless Color Printer is a great compact colour multifunction that has good feature set and simple control but the only let down is the colour print cost.
